I Can Feel Your Whisper

...A great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave.

Blessed are You O Lord,
You are the life that is truly life.
You alone draw my soul into the depths,
the rich and vibrant invitation
to live deeply in the Kingdom of God.

You know me,
You hear me,
You are the God who sees me.
The joys and blessings that I receive
Point my heart to You.

So, I look to You
in praise,
in wonder,
in love.

My heart rests content;
My soul safe.

Surround me O Lord with You
And reflections of You.
Use me to glorify You.

May I walk with You
In steadfast faith
Trusting, enjoying
Experiencing and knowing You,
Jesus,
Lord and Friend.
